Our Bereavement Ministry reaches out to console and support those who have experienced the recent loss of a loved one. The pain of losing a loved one is the deepest human pain one will ever face. Those who are grieving need time to heal and work through their pain. Sharing thoughts, feelings and emotions in the atmosphere of our faith with others who are also going through a personal loss can bring us some peace and acceptance, understanding that these experiences are normal. Knowing that we are not alone gives strength and consolation. We have a bereavement group that meets each fall.
The mission of the Rosary Altar Society is to praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary through prayer, good works and the recitation of the Rosary; to be a medium through which Catholic women may speak and act upon matters of common interest; and to provide spiritual and social community for the members.
Our members meet monthly following the recitation of the Rosary, which is followed by Mass and/or spiritual exercises. By participating in a variety of programs of interest, retreats, days of recollection, and special projects and fundraisers, members support this mission to their benefit and the betterment of our faith family and community.
Our committee promotes the spiritual, cultural and social activities for members of the Filipino community.
The Knights of Columbus are an inter parish fraternal organization open to all Catholic men over 18 years of age.
The Lazarus Ministry is designed to provide immediate support to a family following the death of a loved one. Parishioners trained for Lazarus Ministry call the family with condolences on behalf of our priests and the parish community and offer to meet with the family in planning the funeral liturgy. At the meeting the family selects appropriate readings and hymns and decides how they will participate in the funeral liturgy. The Lazarus Minister is there to offer support and whatever assistance they can and usually attends the wake service and/or the funeral Mass.
Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts builds loyalty and service to God and country and encourages youth to help others and cooperate in achieving goals.

Cultural Arts Ministry
Ministry Leaders: David Lang & Heather McNeal-Lang
Staff Contact: Patricia Jannuzzi - (908) 725-1112 ext. 1124
The Arts Ministry is a cultural apostolate created as a direct response to a call that began with John Paul II and is continued by Pope Benedict XVI. JPII said that because the Gospel lives in conversation with culture, we must be fearless in crossing the cultural threshold of the communication and information revolution now taking place. Therefore, the purpose of this ministry is to call forth artists and talents of our parish in order to give testimonials of the living Gospel. We are looking to promote the following art: drama, poetry, photography, sculpture, painting, play writing, music, etc.

Renew
Contact: Ted and Margie Ellis - (732) 469-0148 or e-mail at: margieellis@gmail.com
RENEW is a process by which Christian people come together in small groups or communities to share their personal faith experiences. Two thousand years after our ancestors joyously joined in small communities in their homes to share their faith concepts, our modern-day RENEW communities enjoy sharing faith-enriching conversation and prayer opportunities together.
RENEW faith-sharing groups encourage living and growing spiritually, and promote an increased support of one another through a truer practice of Christian discipleship. This results in increased understanding of God's love in ways that help us face everyday life challenges and the guidance of the Holy Spirit in defining a clear path of distinct growth in personal faith dimension.

St. Thomas More Apostolate
Contact: Patricia Jannuzzi, Director of New Evangelization/Adult Faith Formation/Stewardship(908) 725-1112 ext. 1124
As Catholics and Christians, the Church calls us to act directly and indirectly, to help to ensure that our laws are infused with Christian morals and values. The St. Thomas More Apostolate's mission is to inform and educate the parishioners of Immaculate Conception Church and the public about the Catholic Church's positions on critical issues including: life, religious freedom, family life and moral/ethical issues. The group will also work to make parishioners more aware of governmental and legislative issues that pertain to the above-mentioned areas. With expectant faith, the Apostolate believes that a deeper understanding of Church positions and their relationship to God's law will stir our minds, hearts and spirits to work and pray for God's will to triumph in our world.
