Powerschool

Powerschool Caution:
It has recently come to our attention that students are able to “hack” into Powerschool screens and change grades.

How is this done? And how will you be able to know?

There is a javascript that can be used. (YouTube even has a video to demonstrate.) Once you paste the javascript into the URL, students can change the grades, attendance and even GPA. But they can not use the print icon. Students will either print screen or copy and paste into another document. If you look over the shoulder of your child, you will not know the difference.

However, it cannot be saved. Also, you can not click on the grade to see additional information. So if you are monitoring your child’s progress, please access powerschool using your username and password.

Powerschool Access:
Powerschool uses the same portal for parents and students.  Please contact the Academics Office at extension 118 for user ID and passwords.  Parent ID is different from students.

Progress reports will be distributed on May 13.  Please view Powerschool frequently to monitor student progress.  .

Please print a copy of the Grades and Attendance which includes up to date information on the courses. There is an icon on the bottom of this page which will allow you to print out the report.  Then click on Teacher Comments and print out a copy of this page for your reference.  Here you will find comments that may indicate that there is a problem.

Return to Grades and Attendance and by clicking on the grade for a particular course, the window will open up to provide you with additional information about the course.

By clicking on the teacher's name found on the Grades and Attendance page - an email will open if you need to contact the teacher.

Anything in BLUE - has additional information - just click.

Please contact Sister Anne Brigid at sannebrigid@immaculatahighschool.org with questions about Powerschool or the teacher with questions about grades.
