An enthusiastic group of robotics team members design, build and program a robot that shoots baskets. Visit the team's website at http://coldfusion1279.com/.
Clubs are an integral part of a well-rounded education and allow students to pursue specific interests not available in a classroom. Students are encouraged to take part in as many activities as they can to get the most out of the Immaculata experience. Students are provided the opportunity to become involved in academic clubs, community outreach, or clubs where they can express their individual interests and talents.

If a student has a particular interest that does not already have a club, he or she needs only a few interested students and faculty moderator to establish one.  The newest edition to the Academics Club roster is the Latin Club.  The purpose of this club is to learn about the language and culture of Rome.  The students learn the language with the help of the Ovid (simplified texts on Roman mythology).  They also read about Roman history and will later look at Church Latin.  The club has 20 members so far, including members of the faculty- they even have a mascot, Titus Andronicus the Tiger!  New members are always welcome.
