Service Dedication Awards 2010-2011
- Most volunteer hours with the elderly (Food Shopping, Handihelp & Nursing home visits): Mike Tarnovetchi, junior, 42 hours
- Most volunteer hours with the handicapped (HAPHA, Matheny & Special Olympics): Megan Chan, junior, 70 hours
- Most volunteer hours to the poor (JusticeworX, Appalachia, Habitat for Humanity, Furniture, Soup Kitchen, Urban Plunge, Legal Services): Anthony Yakely, junior, 334 hours
- Most volunteer events for the year: Mike Tarnovetchi, 77 events out of 174 offered.
- Most volunteer hours for the year: Anthony Yakely, 506 hours.
Service Hall of Fame Inductees
1000 HOURS in 4 years
- Dennis O'Heney, senior, 1003 hours.
- Lexi Moubarak, senior, 1005 hours.
- Amanda Cavanagh, junior (1st in history of school as a junior) 1072 hours… and counting.
Fundraisers
It is the hope of Campus Ministry that all of our students can participate in activities and not be prevented from doing so by finances. To that end, an annual major fundraiser is held in May- the Garage Sale. Items are donated by the community and the sale is staffed by our students and parents. Proceeds from previous years' Garage Sales were used to purchase a new van for Campus Ministry.
