Guidance Mission Statement
The Guidance Department at Immaculata High School provides counseling in academic, emotional, and interpersonal development. Immaculata believes in a program that is proactive in nature with a focus on each student's potential for growth within the context of his/her individual and family perspective.
Individual counseling provides a confidential setting in which students are aided in understanding attitudes, behaviors, and emotional issues. Students are encouraged to develop a deeper understanding of self and the rights and needs of others.
Career and college counseling is provided on an ongoing basis. Each student is assisted in defining educational goals, which reflect his/her interest, abilities, and attitudes.
