President’s Message 

Wow, can you believe it, we are down to the last 7 weeks of school. It seems like yesterday that I was writing my first President’s message.

With that said, I would like to thank everyone who supported me during my last three years as President of the Spartan Club.  I am extremely proud of this year’s accomplishments. We raised well over $100,000.00, which will be earmarked for technology upgrades in the classroom.

I could not have done this without the help of the Executive Board, Committee chairs and the countless volunteers, you should all be very proud to be a Spartan.

The Fashion Show that was held on April 1st was a tremendous success. A conservative figure of $65,000 was announced the day of the show, however we are waiting for a final tally of all income and expenses. Thanks to all the people who tirelessly volunteered their time and talent, it made this event one of the best ever. A special thank you to Chairperson Lenore Rommel and Co-Chairs Cathy Callahan and Monique McKeon. Thanks also to the committee chairs especially those who along with their children will be graduating this year. Don’t forget to mark your calendars now for the 2013 Spartan Club Fashion Show which will be held on April 21^st. The theme of the 2013 show is “A Lata Golden Memories”.

Keep in mind that the Campus Ministry Garage Sale is Friday and Saturday May 18th and 19^th. Drop off of donated items is Wednesday and Thursday, May 16^th and 17^th. Please refer to the Special Events section of this newsletter for additional information. Volunteers are always needed.

Congratulations to the Class of 2012! Please keep them in your prayers as they embark on the next phase of their lives.
